My name is Valerie Avila I’m a New York, based Kids and Junior designer with 5 years of experience working across large retail and independent brands in the US. My knowledge spans from trend forecasting, graphic design, and business development as well as a keen eye for marketing and merchandising. During my career, I have worked with both local and offshore production on RTW products and OPP markets.

I am an avid illustrator and fast learner. In my years as a designer, working against the clock has been the norm and I find myself thriving in these types of environments.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites, in software like Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and Premiere Pro, as well as Microsoft Office programs. In addition, I can create renders in 3D and prepare interactive presentations on Prezi.
